Although I’m not sure that I’d recommend summary execution for a sales and marketing team solely because they have an aversion to the metrics driven world of emarketing, you definitely make some very strong points regarding the effective way to truly harness the power of the web for improving a business’ bottom line.
I’d like to add to the list of practices you mentioned the effective, metrics driven, usage of online videos. The simple fact is that even videos composed only of still images,feature slides and narration provide significant increases in sales numbers.
