1st August 2011- Mai-BS (Thailand) has signed an agreement with DuSai Hotel & Resorts Ltd to develop a 5-star category Eco-Resort in the naturally beautiful part of north-eastern Bangladesh. It will be the first true Eco-boutique resort development in the country featuring 78 rooms and suites and a four-bedroom presidential villa with its own private lap pool.
Today I like to write about hotel and serviced apartment owners have had experiences with web-designers, reservation system providers and web-hosting services here in Thailand. – I don’t even like to count how many times we discovered the same problem over and over again.

October 23rd. 2010 – Mai-BS (Thailand) signed an agreement with Yangrangsi Company Limited based in Phuket, Thailand for the development of a new 350 Room and Villa Resort at south Patong Beach.
The hotel in Phuket, which has yet to be named and scheduled to open year-end 2012 will consist of 100 Pool Villas and 250 rooms.
After writing about my experiences with some hotel architects and designers, I like to share today my experiences with hotel construction companies here in south-east Asia.
Again, the most important lessons I learned written right here at the beginning.
“Some of the most reputed construction companies might be the worse choice as they do not know ANYTHING about the construction of a hotel, resort, or about the importance of high quality “finishing” and “attentions to details”.
“Many construction companies do NOT CARE AT ALL and will not tell you if your architectural designs are wrong – even they know!”

Collins, Asia’s Regional Director of IREIFS Investment Group, a Paris based privately held investment and private equity house about investor confidence in Thailand and the following is a summary of what this reputed and respected investor had to say about their own plans for Thailand – especially Chiang Mai.
“IREIFS is expanding its global Hotel and Resort investment into Chiangmai, Thailand. The Group has entered into joint ventures for 2 new resorts, one in the established world class resort area of Mae Rim and the other on the city’s Ping River. The Group is also finalizing negotiations for the purchase of a city hotel property.
One investor from the middle-east is looking for a hotel in Bangkok or Pattaya.
